Community Relations Program
(formally known as Outreach and Consultative Services)
The Division provides a wide variety of training, outreach, presentations, and panel participation (TOPP) free of charge. Topics are focused on serving the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind communities, their families, and the professionals who work with them. We have a curriculum of training that is customized to each request. If you are interested, please contact us!
Training, Outreach, Presentations, or Panels (TOPP)
We provide training, outreach, and presentations, and are frequently invited to participate on panels. Our audience ranges from individuals, state or local governmental agencies, private businesses, law enforcement entities, schools, and non-profit organizations. The only requirement is a shared goal to remove barriers, increase access, ensure effective communication, and collaborate to support the needs of our Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind communities.
We have a curriculum of training materials and resources that can be customized to the needs of your audience. All training is provided by subject matter experts along with community members with lived experiences.
